Purpose: Organized exclusively as an independent think tank to conduct rigorous research, expert analysis, and offer policy recommendations for enlisted leader development
Mission:

Conduct NCO-focused applied research

Leverage participatory action research to collect and maintain enlisted member feedback and data

Engage with decision makers to influence or shape policy for enlisted leader development concepts

DEPARTMENTS
Research and Analysis:
This department is made up of graduate-level staff in a full-time capacity, focused on scientific research and methods of data collection to identify future force needs regarding U.S. Army enlisted leadership and development techniques.
Educational Development:
This department is made up of Doctrinal Specialists and Subject Matter Experts in a full-time capacity, focused on the creation of tools/products, assisting in field trials and experiments, and the facilitation of data collection.
Outreach and Engagement:
This department is made up of Research Fellows engaged in an on-demand capacity, who contribute to The Institute through their experience and continued engagement with key stakeholders across the Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and Texas State Veterans Leadership.
Fellowships:
Fellows selected for our program articulate policy-focused initiatives, provide peer mentorship, and support our NCO leader development research efforts on behalf of the Board of Directors. Fellows join a collaborative, close-knit community of volunteer service-oriented experts. Potential research fellows include soldiers for life in the public or private sectors, defense industry, congressional offices, and other associations and think tanks.
TRUSTEES
Our trustees represent our governing board, our volunteer research fellows, and our soon-to-be full-time staff of soldier for life subject matter experts. These NCO leader development specialists endeavor to lead the worlds first NCO focused, senior enlisted leader-led think tank for the development of the worldwide professional nconcommissioned officer cohort.
